  1. Great work by all involved. These bodies look great and Im looking forward to getting these two on the track some time in the future. Still a bit to do but having a break for the MCN and then back into it. Not sure of the Ferrari if I was marshalling but my favourite livery from Le Mans. The Porsche looks good and will have to add one to the collection when available.

    Ferrari F1

Actually have a PP 1512 in the cupboard and on the to do list. Just received a lotus 25 from Pre Wing - the to do list and the cupboard keep getting bigger ! I do like the look of those Ferrari's though

    Ferrari F1

Whilst a big fan of Formula 1 I have never been a huge fan of Ferrari - more a fan of a driver or a particular car during the season. A quick sort through the cupboard would suggest otherwise though. A few different makes and some I have made up from kits - some still waiting for a few parts. Nothing from the latest seasons but I forgot to add Kimi's from Scalextric to the pictures. Anyone else have the bug ?
  5. Thought I'd better post a pic of mine. Its hard work keeping up with the likes of Pagey who keeps raising the bar a little higher every week. Great racing and a reason to try harder next time - on and off the track. Will Davison's FG Falcon
  6. Looks like Lewis might make an appearance next year then. Another Mercedes to add to the collection but please a W196 - Stirling Moss. Your not holding out on us Brooksy are you.
  7. Wish I could be there. Will be a great night going by previous experience's. See you soon Tintin
  8. Oops just read the original post again 2pm for a 3pm race start Michael
  9. If theres room another team from Dapto would like to race in the LMP's. This is dependant on race start time though once the time table is out. Vito and myself are on standby. Michael
  10. Just a Quick word to ditto what Jason has already said. A fantastic weekend and many thanks to those who organised , came , saw and conquered. Werner, Akira, Andrew and Torque Ford, Garry and all else should be very proud of hosting a fantastic event and one I can't wait to attend again. A big thanks to all the Dapto guys who helped me over the weekend and have inspired me to get better and faster. It was great weekend. Michael
  11. Now I know your taking so many Jimmy I'll probably only need to take this one ! Looking forward to it.
  12. HI all. Has anyone dealt with Gridscale recently. I have sent them a few messages via their web site but have had no response. Am keen to spend a few dollars but not sure if their still operating. Any help appreciated Tintin
  13. Cam, Looking forward to rejoining the fun on Thursdays soon. Only a few weeks of cricket left and I'll be back on deck.
  14. The Puegeot 908 is a favourite of mine so after a much longer period than I care to think about I'm nearly there. A rear wing and some wheel inserts and away we go, hopefully quickly. Have enjoyed the process so far. Hope to run against the boys at Dapto soon, I know Cam will be building one. Tinitn ,
  15. Cam, PM Sent Count me in, will require a teammate or 2 though. Tintin
  16. A big thanks to all involved for the enduro on Sat night. A first for me and I'm sure not the last. Thanks to Cam for the late call up and to Bill for being the other half as it were. A very well organised event so congratulations and thanks to JImmi and everyone behind the scenes. I look forward to Thurs night for a little more action, hopefully with car in a better condition than the condition it was in when it made it home on Sat night. Again many thanks and I'll need to be careful these mini z's could be addictive.

    Msc Subaru

I recently picked up the nice Limited Edition Subaru from MSC. It's a nice looking car especially with the sponsor logos supplied and has a nice level of detail . , Sadly though when I took it for a spin one of the rear wheels did exactly that - spin on the axle. I tried glueing it and this has lasted for a while but has now worked itself loose . Has anyone else experienced this with MSC cars and can anyone recommend a replacement aluminium wheel to suit. I know MSC make them but I cant find a dealer here that stocks them. I quite like the look of the red Subaru and one of the Ford RS200's looks good also but would like to know if I can sort out my Subaru first. Then again they only made 1000 so perhaps I should put it back in the box Tintin

    Moffat Falcon

Picked up mine yesterday afternoon from the Armchair Racer. Great car and goes nicely with my retro version. Front tires a little out of round so has a bit of a hop as it goes but easy fixed. Thanks scaly
  19. Decals are from Pattos over tamiya pure white. Clear coated with Micro Scale Gloss. It was a bit fiddly around the rear wheel arches but it turned out ok in the end.
  20. Looks very nice. Careful it can become addictive..
  21. Davnic I guess you mean this one; I did one as a request;
  22. Have finished a few more over the holidays; will possibly do the Bathurst 2012 of Davison to finish off the FPR set. Quite like the look of the Villeneuve Pepsi max as well. Tintin
  23. The FG Falcon Gis looks great and I cant wait to get one but Is it just me or do the fuel intakes seem to have disappeared.. If so then the car is probably not tampo printed and has a decal. Am not sure if this is often the case but I do know the diecast industry has been having all sorts of quality control problems of late relating to poorly placed decals. Any thoughts or does anyone have one yet to confirm or deny this. Tintin
  24. Kind words - thanks Triggy I always use waterside. I found the peel and stick would not conform to complex curves whereas the waterslide will mould, stretch etc to curves and steps etc. A little Microscale Microsol usually does the trick. Supercharged a little bit of copper tape and mealtimes could be even more fun.. Here's the Bathurst Pole from 2011. Goes as good as the FG Falcons as well.
  25. With the release of Pattos 2012 V8 Supercar decals I thought I'd do a FPR set just in time to sit on the lounge all weekend and watch Bathurst, maybe even a trip to the garage in the ad breaks for a few laps on the track. What do they do , they get all retro. Now I'll need to do another set. Still enjoying the chance to do more livery's than being released through the normal channels. Great decals from Patto's again, even better than last years I think. Anyway enjoy; On another Bathurst related topic how about we petition Scalextric or Southern Models for a 50th anniversary set. Seems to be a glut of 50th year models, surely Bathurst's 50 year anniversary would be a worthy addition. Otherwise I'l do my own.
