gref
Ok, here's where it's at as of last night, all lanes routed and rebated, all elevations screwed down apart from bridge which will be lifted when braid goes down then today I went out and cleaned up and bogged all screws and holes, took a few different angle pics to show undulations. I'll sand back bog tomorrow and hopefully apply first coat of paint - gotta order the ferrodor next week (hope I can get trade price! ) Quote *fancy signature regards Shane Fuel racing in first track build --> https://youtu.be/nG1EyFkbJSs My second track build --> raceday - https://youtu.be/8WXYQ528iKM

Dick he wants the wheels to spin like real deal when they take off! At first I brushed it on and it looked crappy and was patchy, so I gave it 2 extra coats with foam rollers, very happy with outcome now! triggy
At first I brushed it on and it looked crappy and was patchy, so I gave it 2 extra coats with foam rollers, very happy with outcome now! I know it is a bit late now Gref, but I believe the trick is to roll it on then brush it flat in the direction of travel to "smooth out" some of the coarseness that the roller causes. Or alternatively as others have done is sand the finished product to desired texture. BTW it is looking really good.
