I have just had a look at the team Scalexworld car after the weekend and noticed that we have a slightly buckled front wheel and a badly buckled rear wheel. Also the body is cracked between the grill and headlight. Only had 2 maybe 3 brackets where we did not have the car off for maintenance.

Just recovered from a very tireing but enjoyable weekend of racing & was just mulling over all the events of the race when a very important fact jumped out at me.

I think James should have gotten a trophy for his marathon effort as Race Director where he didn't have the luxury of having a break every 15 or so minutes like we did.Well done James,Gary & Steph for providing a fantastic venue & Track to race on.Also a big thanks to Steph's dad Joe for his tireless marshalling on Saturday during practice.

A big thanks to Shane,Kim,Jan,Gary & Noel for all their efforts to make it a GREAT RACE & to all the interstaters for coming such a long way to make a very memorable race to remember.It was also great to catch up with some old mates & meet some new ones.

As has been said before the quality of driving was top shelf & it was a pleasure to drive such a long race with everyone using good race etiquite

Well done to all the teams who competed in this great event, to all the organisers and to James for making his venue available. As Jan said, the best team won so a big congrats to team NSR. I personally watched the many hours of preparation and practice that went into the car which, in the end, paid off.

 

A big thanks has to go to Shane for originally kicking this world class event off at Thunderbird Raceway last year and I am sure it will continue to grow.

Thanks to everyone that was there last weekend for making it a top class event, i thanks to Garry J for building a fantastic car...i had never driven these cars before and cant wait for the next event.

Thank you Joe for marshalling all day Saturday.

It was good to catch up with everyone and have a few drinks Saturday night..(gee has Axman got some stories

), and nice to meet John (Yngwie) and have a brief chat.
