lenny broke
Morning All, I'm planing to decorate a clear vacform body using pattos decals. So I'm looking for some advice on whats the best way to go about it in regard to the type ( peel and stick or water slide) and fixing to body ( inside or out) Thanks in anticipation to your responses Chers Alan Quote home track club racer Spitfire Raceway forum link https://www.facebook.com/groups/1753319218331240/?ref=bookmarks

sellout
Peel and stick all the way if you want to spray paint, water slide will only work if you hand paint after doing decals. Personally I think stickers on the outside cut properly looks more realistic.
shadow_rusty
Depends on the thickness of the shell. Very thin shells look ok on the exterior, but slightly thicker shells can have the decals look like they are 'floating'. That said, decals on the inside can have their 'edges' show up quite badly. Still, my advice would be to use peel and stick on the inside and LIGHTLY spray on the backing coat. espsix
On the inside, peel and stick, then a clear coat over the decals before any colours, stops colour bleeding under the decals.
imugford
reverse peel and stick, delete the main body colours and stick them on the inside of the body
