charlesx
Hi all. Car on left on starting line looks totally out of scale or are all others too small. Just a passing comment. Regards Chas Le Breton (charlesx)

Regards Chas Le Breton (charlesx) Just the camera angle Charles, the car second from the right on the white lane is also a Scaleauto Viper & is similar in size to the Slotworx V8's next to it. The field is a mixture of what we are racing, the 2 Slotworx Porsche's are exactly the same size as the Scaleauto Porsches[not in pic]. jimmyslots 1950
Finally recovered from a very hectic weekend racing in the MCN at The Bull Ring Shellharbour.[only had to travel 5 k's so must be the end of my interstate travels] A big thankyou to Glenn & family for very friendly & welcoming atmosphere with every one commenting on how well it was run.. Many thanks to the helpers who make these events happy & memorable, firstly the ladies,Glen's wife Jo & daughter Lony & Noel's wife Donna for keeping the troops well fed. To Brooksy & Noel for all their hard work in organising a very well run meeting with no major glitches. A big thanks to Gary Johnson for filling in as race director to give Brooksy a much needed rest from official duties. To all the racers who travelled long distances to compete,I'm sure you won't forget this one in a hurry with some good long lasting memories. Thankyou Werner for all your sponsorship & scrutineering & for helping all racers to get their cars passed & racing,a learning curve for many And finally to all our local Bull Ring members, for putting their hand up & helping out in any way to make the MCN so successful. This weekend has only confirmed in my mind that we have the strongest club in Aus & not only in numbers competing, now we have one of the best tracks to play with our toys thanks to Glenny's dream V8 Slotworx F1 Plafit Plafit Le Mans image upload no resize Slotworx Porsche Cup Scaleauto Old Chassis Scaleauto New Chassis upload picture Cheers Jimmy Quote To finsh first, first you gotta finish
Trowta
greeting from across the great divide. I kive in Perth and new to the slot car scene, having spend most of my money on RC car racing.. I am really interested in becoming involved and was hoping can anyone assist me in providing a contact that I can talk too?? I think having a national title again for 1/32 would be awesome!! You can run different classes and have a national title for each. Does any know if there is or was a national sanctioning body???

You can run different classes and have a national title for each. Does any know if there is or was a national sanctioning body??? Hi, I might be able to assist with answering some of your questions. As a participant in many of the Scale Model National events over the last decade, as well as coordinating NSW State Title and Interclub challenges, i too would like to see a resurgence in 1/32 national racing. In recent years the focus has shifted away towards the 24th scale cars only, in which i still regularly compete within. I have some good connections to various commercial and private groups along the east coast of Australia. Ideally for an nationals event to be viable; the event needs to be held at an accessible venue, ideally a commercial centre over a private raceway, Race classes need to be popular and inclusive for all. Also it would be in the best interest to race classes in which the venue has an ample supply of stock available, i.e. Scalextric, Slot.it, Carrera, etc... Happy to chat further id you would like to get in touch. Cheers, Jason. 1 Quote Brooksy
