Drifter
Has anyone watched the new show with the Enforcer and the Dude? they had Tony Cochran on this week, very interesting to hear his point of view. Just watched it, thanks for the 'heads up' 32coupe. Yes very interesting. Quote www.sydneyslotcars.com
Slotspeed
Wonder why they call him "the dude"... all I can think of is "the dude who got punched in the head by his boss Tony Longhurst" Edited May 25, 2019 by Slotspeed
jphanna
been a along time since a ford has been allowed to win more than 2 races in a row. my guess is that along with 888, the authorities can not do much about the best car winning races right now. they already hacked at it 3 times this year,...... so any more will make them look positively SHONKY (holden $$$$$) Edited May 27, 2019 by jphanna Quote Shed People Mutual Admiration Society 2 times Australian National Champion 1991-Flexicar 1999- Group 12 Sedan
manimmal
It's simple. The current best driver is with the best funded team in the best car. Until the next car, the next driver, the next team. If it's 888 it's cheating Roland and whingecup, change the panels to make it closer. If it's Penske it's dodgy overdone Ryan and shortcut Scott, increase cog, adjust the wing. Supercars need to find a balance that keeps all the wealthy guys happy enough, whilst still draining the pockets of punters at meets and via Foxtel. Clearly the biggest money says Mustang wins this year, Supercars homolgated the likelyhood of this happening into a certainty and are backpedaling to make it less obvious. I hope the next generation of rules allows the Mustang to actually look like a Mustang; if that Mustang was a slot car we'd bag it for looking like a poorly vac formed turd. manimmal
I know right? I've never owned a Ford or Holden but I'd almost buy a current gen Mustang 1:1 (orange for me please), it's such a missed opportunuty that the rules didn't allow for a better looking race car. 1 Quote My mum says I'm an excellent driver
mtpanorama
Anyone out there still watch In Pit Lane, Brett described the current "Supercar" ford as a Mustang Like Car last night, so funny. 1 Quote Corporate greed is driving inflation. Caddo
GT3 or GT4 coupled with TCR are far more interesting race categories IMO.

32coupe
I watched the last race this weekend and was so bored I nearly fell asleep, between the total dominance of all 6 mustangs, and the lousy TV coverage, combined with the dull to annoying commontators, I give up. Next time they race I just might cut to the chase and have an afternoon nanny nap instead. Quote A man without a woman is like a neck without a pain. mattcrackers
Seems that the only problem I see now is that the Holdens aren't winning every race like they have for years. Scotty Mac has been the inform driver for a while now, a step above the rest this year. He won in a Volvo, should of won the championship in the Falcon, then did, and now he's creaming the Opels, loving it.
