Shaynus
The 3rd round of the Mike Winfield Memorial Trophy has been run, and won. It was a fabulous night with a great turn out and run in an excellent atmosphere. It was great to see some new faces , all of whom did really well and should be proud of their efforts. It was great to meet picko990 - Nice guy, great racer and a wealth of information. Also a pleasure to meet Travis (and his little cheer squad!) and Sean, both 1st time visitors to the track. You guys did really well and we hope to see you back again in the not too distant future! The winning team from last week, and the winning driver of the Cup will be announced at this week's meeting. At this week's meeting om Friday we will be racing Sideways Group 5 and Open Class categories. It should be a fast night of racing!

Shaynus
The results of the Inaugural Mike Winfield Trophy are in 1st off, the results of the 3rd round held on the 11th November. Well, I say results, except I seemed to have misplaced the piece of paper I wrote the result of the teams night down on...sigh... However, I do remember the winning team of the night! the winning team was actually the far least experienced team on the night, which was a fantastic result. A big congratulations goes out to Rob, Jason and Travis! Rod has only been coming for a handful of meetings and it was Jason & Travis's 1st time! While Jason is a very experienced and accomplished slotter, Rob and Travis very much aren't but they drove with great discipline and consistency to win the best handicapped adjusted score on the night - well done guys! The overall winner of the Mike Winfield trophy was also presented on the night. Congratulations to Tony who has driven with a great balance of speed, yet safely (each 'off' costs the team a one lap deduction off their tally) over the three rounds. Well done sir! Dave presenting the trophy to Tony The proud winner No need to be bashful Tony! Edited November 21, 2022 by Shaynus photos added

Shaynus
Unfortunately, I couldn't attend last week, but thanks to my underground network of eyes on the ground I can at least give some results of the night's racing For the modified Scalextric class: 1st Dave, 2nd Tony, 3rd Paul, 4th Ron I hope you all had fun! Shaynus
This week, 2nd of December, will be the last points scoring night (but not the last meeting) of the year, so lets go out with a bang! (and hopefully not a crash!) We will be racing Inline Slot.it and Sideways Group 5 These are fairly stock cars with evenly matched performance which results in close, hard ( and fun!) racing, so it should be a great night's racing! See you there! Edited November 30, 2022 by Shaynus
