Heya Nico. Tony mentioned an Australian crew coming across. Are you one of them ?

About 4 of us are heading down from Hawkes Bay club

SlotMadMac and I are also at The Honest Lawyer, Pedro is in town with Mrs Pedro. Not sure where Stella (Stella really is a guy, and he’s fast) will be camped

Preparations are well underway by Tony and his team for this 10th Anniversary NSR Challenge Meeting  .

There are over 40 entries from more than 12 clubs coming from Auckland to Dunedin and for the first time we will be welcoming a number of Australian entries .

If you havent yet confirmed your entry then please do so in order that clothing orders can be arranged .

A newsletter and a final entry reminder will be going out soon .

NSR have provided stunning prizes and lots to go in your goodie bags .

Tony has been really busy answering your queries and supplying lots of cars and parts .

Looking forward to meeting you all again and the first time entrants .

Thanks to Tony and Sue Cook for hosting the 10th anniversary of this special event. 4 full days of racing - a 3hr GT3 enduro to get out of towners familiar with the track, followed by NSR GT3, Classics and F1s.  The level of professionalism sets the gold standard for slot car racing in New Zealand and it was a pleasure hanging out with other racers. I’ll leave it to the organisers to post the results but here are some pix from a great weekend in Nelson.
