Paulslots
Good evening lads. Since it has been a while to get back on here. There was a post regarding building slot cars. I have recently complete a new build Pendal PP kit. complete car shell, chassis and wheels. For our club racing I have used an SRP1800 motor. 9/24 gearing (slot it). Assembled and painted. Runs a treat. Handles well. Up to the other Tasman spec cars we race against. A Gold star event was held a few weeks back (at West Adelaide Race Way) built around the Old Tasman cup cars we all built. Great day. Good fun.

dangermouse
Looks really neat - (just needs some skinny wheels on it ) Nice paint job what did you use? I had trouble finding it on Pendle's site but then discovered you had reversed the numbering its a Ferrari 625. Looks really good. The Pre-Add kits look good. I just bought a PP Scarab kit looking forward to building it. Just have to find the right blue.
Terry
Nice work Paul I hesitate to see anything wrong with your car, but.... I would have liked skinier fronts, something similar to the classic ninco wire wheels. Nice build, got any more in the pipeline?
Paulslots
Morning Lads, Thank yo for the comments on the Ferrari 625 1955 Re the rims and tires. They are the Pendal wire wheel kit, MJK front tires, BRM rears. I put the wheels on I had, Have ordered in the skinnier set, yet to come. Tamiya paint (spray can) Italian Red. With semi gloss clear over the to once the decals installed. She runs sweet. Build is similar to what we used to run for the Tasman Cup. West Adelaide Raceway had a Gold Star event a few weeks back, All these classic type F1 cars raced, ,up to 1968 I think. Great day out. Lads all had fun. (think this is the objective)
