Chris in the A.C.T.
Wonder how many of these Porsches Scalextric released in all their various liveries. I reckon they sure must have got value out of that mold . Anyway this is my interpretation of the Laurie O'Niel Porsche raced by Ian Geoghegan and *I think* on occasion by brother Leo. For some reason Scalextric released them with big rear tyres on the front as well. I had to reprofile the front wheel arch to get a better radius and also moved the guide forward so now it sits on the track a bit more realistically, also removed the whale tail spoiler. Rattle can paints and did the red pinstripe freehand, not so much fun now that arthritis is really setting in. Eagle eyed listeners will note the Yokohama decal but I had no Bridgestone, but any Japanese tyre decal is better than none I guess. It goes very well no doubt that wide rear track helps heaps. One day I may put a better chassis in it, but super happy with it as is. Hope y'all have a great week. Chris.
