Slot.it have advised they will be shipping the first livery of the beautiful Ferrari 312 B2 when they reopen from summer holidays. I expect we will see it in our part of the world in 2 or 3 weeks.

Slot.it have just confirmed release dates for two particularly saloons. One an Opel Calibra in the  boxed "Winners Collection" series
The other a new model, the first Nissan GTR R32, intended for competition against the DTM cars, and equipped with the same drive train that is becoming very familiar.

Both ship from your local pusher on 27th November.

Stay tuned for one J Richards calling slot.it " A Pack Of &^#%&*)*& " for leaving his name off the plinth.....

Cheers,

Tony.

There's only two questions:

1. What direction do you go

2. What's the Lap Record?

Stay tuned.... In case anyone is unfamiliar with the relevance of the expression "A Pack Of &^#%&*)*&"  cussingblack.gif

I already sent this video to Maurizio with a detailed explanation of what is required......
Let the plinth wars begin....... uzi.gif   snipe.gif rocket.gif

Suggested Plinth lettering
            Nissan Skyline GT-R - 1992

1st Bathurst “Gentleman Jim” Richards, some guy called Skaifey

I actually thought it would make a great 3rd line if it could be squeezed onto the plinth.

1st Bathurst “Gentleman Jim” Richards, some guy called Skaifey

first.gif  " You're A Pack Of &^#%&*)*& "  first.gif

yeah , that works.......
And in case anyone actually doesn't know his record

Racing career summary
Flag of New Zealand Jim Richards

Podiums 510
Pole positions 78
Fastest laps 155

it shall of course appear with both drivers - yet to respond to my appeal for a third line quoting Jim ....

EDIT: For clarity, re-reading my poorly written post. The car pictured at bottom is not the livery coming this month. The red NISMO car comes this month,

ca49a.jpg

The livery below is scheduled for Q1 2022.

Slot.it just announced the 2nd livery of the Nissan Skyline GT3 which is coming out later this month.

Rather fetching I think

So do the new Group C Slot.it cars have 23000 RPM now compared to the old orange end bells 21500?

For a few years now Matt. Likewise the 65-80 sports.

Cheers, haven't purchased a new Group C in years, had plenty that I purchased that I hadn't used.

Might have to get myself one of these 23000rpm motors or a new car.

Be good to see the difference at racing as my 962 seems to be off the pace using the orange end bell.

Is there a substantial difference in lap times with the 23000rpm motors compared to the orange end bells?

Very little, we're only talking a few percent more wattage overall, a lot of other tuning factors will make a larger difference.
Actually, thinking that you haven't bought a Group C in a few years - the advances over time, of gradually lighter bodies, chassis tweaks etc, probably make more difference.
The CA41 code Toyota 86c are very quick, but there is no single model which dominates at our club, and after initial difficulty getting the Nissan R89c with a narrower rear track up to speed 3 years ago, it is now my quickest Group C, and usually on podium at club.
