"Help" a Granddad Noob I have an AFX thunderloop thriller bought about thirty years ago and has been in storage most of that time. I see it is now a Museum piece worth three times what i paid for it $89 dollars i paid. It is in perfect nick but the cars are in need of new motor cog and rear axle and of course the copper pick ups. I am in Geelong and the one place that has these things Toyworld in Shannon Ave Geelong west is out of stock. They have a guy that comes in and does the stock take and until that happens they can't help me. They have new cars at 60 bucks and that is not a problem for me but i want to be able to give it to my grand kids and not put a hole in the wallets of a young family getting parts. This is where my trouble began the set is a Tomy H.O scale electric and i have found some spare parts online and they look right but need to confirm i am buying the right thing . Also i would like to know if this set can take some of the other cars i am seeing online like Mega G or do they run on different tracks. What other type of cars if any can run on this track Thanks in advance for any advice you can give this PC and VR gaming Granddad . PS layman's terms please i am not into slot cars and some of the words used in this area. I think this topic has come up before but it has reared its head again as I have bought a new laptop. Basically a link added to AUSLOT link - something like AU.URLM.com - takes you to another site saying it is speeding up access. All it does however is slow things down and introduce dirty and unwanted pictures. I have got around this for Auslot by typing address in direct instead of using search engine but I have now found it attached to a local clubs link. Can anybody advise how to get rid of this. Regards Chas Le Breton PS. If I excite and try again it goes straight to Auslot but happens each time I log on afresh.

G'day all I want tot get some new tyres for an SCX R8 Audi the ones that come with it are like skating on ice although it might be my drivingI.The wheel dia is17x9 and the raised middle section is 5mm. I was thinking of getting the PT30-F15, do you think they would fit or is there better tyres to fit? any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
