  1. Picked up a couple of packets of these brass 8 gram weights that fit perfectly into the LeMans class cars Quick and simple to fit plus Australian made, so all good The company also makes different shapes and sizes for other NSR pods
  2. G'day All I finally succumbed and bit the bullet on a NSR F1. Me being me, it had to be done in Gulf colours. As a side note, Gulf have come on board as a sponser with the Mclaren F1 team. Unfortunately, while applying the clear coat, the body slipped off it's stand and landed in a box full of dusty rubbish! Noooooo!! I picked the cobwebs and dirt off as best I could, but the remnants are still there to be seen. Oh well, so be it. I wasn't going to start again! Being a car I race, and especially being an open wheeler, I can't be too precious about the paint anyway... Hopefully the view seen by my competitors... And compared to my Proslot F1
  3. I have a few NSR King 21 Evo/3 engines and was wondering if they perform better one way than the other, in the past i just stuck them in the way the way the writing was written on the sticker coating the engine. Is it something i should test on each engine individually but before i do i thought id ask better slot car minds than mine here for their thoughts, does it apply to other brands of engines too?, any info would be appreciated
  4. G'day All One of my compatriots ask me to spruce up his NSR F1 white test car. I immediately went to white F1 = Martini (rightly or wrongly), so here is my take on a fantasy livery: I even put his name on it: I designed the number and name decals and printed them on a sheet of clear adhesive labels. I'm glad it worked, I had thought of it ages ago and only just now had an opportunity to give it a go. The rest of the decals are off generic sheets Cheers, Shayne
  5. Tragic News from Italy. It has been reported that Salvatore Noviello, owner of NSR, has been killed in a car crash . RIP Salvator!
