Rob
So, is there a crate of 'shine on the back seat to make up for no Luke in the passenger seat? No that's now sloshing around the passengers foot well due to the rough landing! Quote Regards Rob

manimmal
Got my General Lee today and what a great handler out of the box. One thing that Scaley always seem to do is build cars that are there or there abouts without farting around. OH, the BrawnGP also arrived at Ged's today. YUM! Didn't drive it yet, too scared... miveson
Courtesy of the other slot forum, some release dates for the upcoming 2010 models from Scalex. Unsure of when we'll get these in Oz as the dates relate to when they hit the UK warehouses, but generally our location to China helps us in some cases: I'll definately be picking up a couple of the James Bond cars - it has a working ejector seat December 6th C3091a James Bond Ltd Edition (6,500) C3131 Jaguar XKR GT3 Phoenix Racing C3132 Porsche 997 Triple X C3134 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Rosberg C3135 Lamborghini Gallardo GTR C3043 McLaren F1 Hamilton 2010 C3082 Aston Martin DBR9 KIT C3083 Chevrolet Impala Pro KIT December 13th C3055a Gulf Aston Martin Twin Pack Ltd Edition C3136 Ford GT-R Black Swan Racing C3106 Chevrolet Camaro Sunoco December 20th C3087 Dodge Viper USAF Limited Edition (1200) C3086 Porsche RS Spyder - Team Essex C3088 Ford GT-R Robertson Racing C3046 F1 McLaren - Jenson Button C3092 Lotus 49 Jo Siffert C3094 Williams F1 - Alain Prost C3095 McLaren MP4 Ayrton Senna C3102 Eagle Gurney Weslake C3096 Ford Lotus Cortina C3099 Ford Escort RS1600 C3100 Morris Mini Cooper S C3133 Caterham R500 C3107 Ford Mustang Trans-Am C3108 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 C3068 Subaru Impreza Polica Car Quote Slot Car Photos V8 Tipping Competition

Ember
Still not sure where I stand on that one. Huge Aston Martin fan. Not so much a Bond fan, but HL is. Was very disappointed with the shots of the set version of the car. I think I'll have to wait until I can see this car in person before I can put it on the 'must have' list. Quote Computers. miveson
An disappointing line up from Scalextric for 2011. # Mercedes GP Petronas (C3146, C3147, C3167, C3168) # Ford RS200 (C3156) # Bugatti Veyron (C3173 Super Resistant, C3199 High Detail) # McLaren MP4-12C (C3157 Super Resistant, C3200 High Detail) # Ford Fiesta RS WRC (C3183 Super Resistant, C3202 High Detail) # MG MGB (C3143) # VW Beetle (C3204) # Chevrolet Corvette C6R GT2 (C3185 Super Resistant, C3189 High Detail) There isn't much that appeals to me. Ember
Hope Jules gets the Pioneer MGB out first. And folks have been calling for another run on the Beetle, hopefully it's the real Beetle not the New Beetle. Not really a lot to offer in there. Does it seem to anyone else that Scaley is gearing down their production? Quote Computers. They'll never catch on. dangermouse
This has some appeal - instant digital racing..... Digital Platinum is the ultimate Scalextric Digital set! Six cars, a vast circuit and the phenomenal Advanced 6-Car Digital Powerbase are all included (C1276). Cars featured in the Digital Platinum set include 2x Porsche 997 RS, 2x Audi R8 LMS and 2x Lamborghini Gallardo GT-Rs, offering racers the ability to block and overtake whilst they battle it out for the chequered flag. Otherwise nothing there - no new classics, Mustangs, GT40s, Camaro, etc....have to wait for more details I guess, mind you this is the first year I really haven't thought about what they were releasing - 2011 is the year of the slot.it GT40 for me.... Club car looks ok Audi R8 - livery is nice cheers DM Edited January 1, 2011 by dangermouse
miveson
I'm sure they'll be doing 30+ cars in 2011, for some strange reason they trickle out the information, why they can't put the entire catalogue online is beyond me. Interesting that they are trying to fight some of the other manufacturers (Pioneer - MGB, NSR - Corvette). Have to wait and see what else they come out with... Pioneer
It's not just the MGB you'll have a choice of. News of the Pioneer VeeBub has been held back assuming (quite correctly) an announcement from Scaley. The Pioneer VeeDub made a very quick appearance on the website last March and was pulled off again damned quick. For those of you in the inner circle that have full proto pics of the red VeeDub, please do not post yet. Here's a quick look but we need to get the colour right first before we show the whole thing. Thanks, Jules.
