2013 Race Calendar Season 3

Just thought I would post up SWSRGs race calendar for Season 3 for current members and anybody else interested in having a run with us.

 

We race on 8 tracks stretching from Epping and Kellyville in the North West through to St Clair in the west and Casula and Minto in the Southwest. Also racing at Revesby in the South.

 

Anyone looking into getting into some casual racing is more than welcome. Our group is about having fun and trying to make everyone competitive so if you feel you are interested and would like to learn a few tricks and tips from Dr Joe (The Slot Doctor) come along and participate.

 

PS. No need to worry about not having cars as most guys lend their spares out!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Class Rules

 

SLOT.IT GROUP C

 

Car:

Any Slotit Group C, with standard interior.

These include Jaguar XJR12, Lancia LC2, Porsche 956, Porsche 962, Mercedes Sauber C9, Mazda 787B, Toyota 88C

 

Chassis & Motor pod:

Slotit Inline & Sidewinder pod only.

No anglewinder pod

Slotit Group C chassis only

Both can be trimmed to allow float.

 

Motor:

Slotit Green Can, Orange Can & Boxer only.

No Flat 6

Gears:

Any Slotit Inline or Sidewinder combination

 

Wheels & Tyres & Inserts:

Any Slotit wheel & tyre combination except F1

Inserts must be fitted but front & back don't have to match

No F1 wheels and tyres

Front axle can be fixed in desired position

 

Guide:

Any Slotit guide

 

Weight:

Weight can be added but must be inside or level with the bottom & NOT under the chassis

 

Axles, braid, lead wire & eyelets, body screws & grub screws can be from any manufacturer.

 

 

NINCO 1

 

Car;

Any inline Ninco1 car.

New members may use any Ninco1 car including anglewinder.

 

Body & Chassis:

Standard Ninco1 body & chassis

Body can be lowered & chassis trimmed to allow float.

Interior can be removed.

 

Motor:

Standard Ninco1 motor that came with the car

 

Gears:

Standard, what came with the car.

9/27 inline & red 12/32 anglewinder.

Pinion on inline cars can be changed to brass but must remain standard ratio, 9 tooth, due to no aftermarket Ninco plastic pinions.

 

Wheels & Tyes:

Standard Ninco1 wheels that came with the car or any Ninco plastic wheels of the same size

Rear Tyres:

Standard Ninco1 tyres that came with the car or replacment Ninco tyres, Part No 80520.

Front Tyres:

Any brand

Front axle can be fixed in desired position

 

Axle:

Standard Ninco 2.5 axle front & back

 

Guide:

Standard Ninco guide that came with the car

 

Weight:

Weight can be added & can be placed inside the car or under the chassis

 

Braid, lead wires & eyelets & body screws can be from any manufacture

 

 

CARTRIX F1

 

 

Car

Any Cartrix F1

 

Motor:

Standard Cartrix motor or Mt1 replacement.

 

Gears:

Standard Cartrix 9 tooth or any 9 tooth replacement pinion

Standard Cartrix crown gear or

25,26 or 27 tooth Slotit replacement

 

Wheels & Tyres:

Standard Cartrix plastic wheels & tyres.

Cartrix replacement aluminium wheels or

Racer aluminium FRONT wheels & tyres Part No WR1

Front axle can be fixed in desired position

Weight:

Weight can be added but must be inside the car.
