dry fit the tubing on the scaffolding

tvd.jpg

cut plactruct 1/8" square stock to fit on the tubing

glue the square stock together.

fit rectangle on to the tubing.

paint tubing and railing then attach the railing to the tubing.....the tubing fit so tightly

to the scaffolding there was no need for glue.

There was definatly an OH & S issue with that scaffold before you added the handrail

Just as well workover never showed up or that guy with the chainsaw would get fined for sure

Great score on the kit looks like you could use heaps of the parts for bashing

Keep it in the groove

pete you hit the nail on the head :) i found about 5 things that i can turn into scenery and two for sure for my track. in fact my next idea is the great fencing i bashed for my track.

your right pete, that psyco with the chain saw is probably the sorry excuse the manufacturer wants to give for not finishing the scaffolding. :)

Hi Phil and all,

I know the postage does add to the cost, but last year I sent a TV Tower set to Australia for £9 by the Royal Mail Airsure service (insured, tracked and signed for) and would be happy to do the same for others, until such time as the new reseller has stock - we do not want to be competing with our resellers in any way! We would offer a discount to users of the Auslot Forum, which goes a little way to offset the postage.

I hope no-one will be offended by the commercial nature of this posting, but, as a manufacturer, we do like to try to help fellow enthusiasts get what they like. (Even if you want to make something yourselves, you might get some inspiration from our photos - but please don't go into production and compete against us!!!!).

Regards,

Paul

Paul: all your products provide inspiration! I for one often refer to your products for ideas. Unfortunatly quality does cost money! the "copies" that build are usually no were near the standard of your products, its just that we tend to want to spend more on cars and less on the scenery!

very nice, it'll look great in place i expect. what's the go with the camera man, he seems to have 2 prosthetic hands? is he a cyborg? seriously thought i haven't seen this guy before, what brand is 'he'?

"he" is a walmart construction figure they carried for a short time 4 years ago. there were 7 types all with separate accessories, this fellow was a hots carrier and had a wheel barrel. im sure they soon realized that kids would choke on the accessories and discontinued them.
