Are the cars on the right supposed to be the scaley version of the cars on the left?

If so, they are both different liveries...

ps. Looking forward to finally being able to get a yellow Torana...

mattcrackers -: C3492 Brock/Sampson due any day. We are not certain if the C3529 Gardner/Morris is on the same shipment but we do know it is in transit.

shadow_rusty -: was wondering how quickly our error would be picked up. Yes the images on the right are the Scalextric models. The large image we have of the Ford is the wrong year but we have the correct one on our web page. From our investigation the Torana's are correct. That is the 1975 model raced by Gardner/Morris - it had the Australian flag on the roof.

Thanks for the clarification...

The torana is very similar, but has different Channel 7 logo's...

The "77" Johnson hardtop is the #13, the only year he raced a falcon at Bathurst that wasn't #17, because Jonny Rutherford had already been entered in a torana with the #17 by Ron Hodgson.

He was about 5seconds off the pace. 😄

More DJR cars would be very welcome.

Hi Guys,

Doing the usual slot car daily search when i stumbled across some interesting new Australian Scalextric Releases for 2015.

Personally i can't wait for the John Bowe Ford Mustang. Great looking livery!

It's glad to see that Scalextric (and Southern models to a degree) are focusing on the Australian Market more these days. No news on the V8's yet, even if they are intending to do any this year. possibly not due to the new Ford body and 2017 rules just around the corner.

All good news - we're on the "map" folk - internationally.

I saw Allan run that twin cam Escort at Calder against PB - he was lightening fast.

It was a transitional period when he went from the #9 302 "Trans-Am" Mustang to this tiny little tin tub...... I very much doubted he'd do any good - until the flag dropped....

Some of our notable drivers could take a Melbourne taxi around a track and drive it competitively (well, the taxis are used to it - being jockeyed for position getting to ranks) - but AM and PB were simply amazing.

I believe it was well noted that AM would sit in the car on the grid pre-race... a verocious competitor who would "think" out the track and race before the flag dropped... PB would simply jump in and go... his adaptability to change was corner by corner.... guess that came from cutting down the old Austin to a chassis and getting the best times around his home-made dirt circuit on the farm.... "Le-Mans" style starts...

frats,

Rosco
