Here are a couple of photos of my Mt Panorama layout. 4 lanes of classic Scalextric track with computerised lap counting via my own program written in Q Basic on an old 386.

Across the top of the mountain looks cool! well done.

Have Fun

On chips, we have simply too many to create a video-log. As mentioned earlier in this thread, some were dead-on-arrival, some had no brakes, some had a range with the of about 30cm, some when hooked up to a light kit had only rear lights but not front lights (light kit and LEDs worked perfectly when tested with another chip) and so much more.

He he - put it on a trailer & take it up to Bathurst when the Auslot trip goes.. if we play it right we can employ kids to look after the track and it'll pay for everyone's accomodation!:huh:

Sorry no more pics at the moment as I don't have a camera, these pics were scanned photos and last time I put up a big photo (1994 Mustang Sports Sedan) some people took exception.

Perro is right, I am in Ferntree Gully Melbourne.

Eno better have a big trailer as the track measures approx 6.5 x 4.2 Metres and is 1.1 M at Skyline

Great looking track, Bathurst is one of the greatest tracks about, I would love to do this as a 4 lane routed, having the climb up mountain, the esses and skyline all with major squeezes, then an even run down conrod and pit strait....... I think I am going to start drawing again

Thanks for your comments guys.

Steve, Scaley V8s box standard with magnet run mid to high 6 seconds.

PaulNZ, routed would be interesting with the squeezes you mention.

JRob, Conrod is about 5 meters long.

blue95, I will try to get some pics this weekend. Anything in particular you want to see.
