I have, since a kid, been a massive fan of 4th gen Group 5 cars and racing 1977-1982.

They were nuts and the freedom they had to create these beasts was phenomenal.
The Wurth & Zakspeed cars, Porsche deciding lights weren't needed, beemers that were every kids dream matchbox car.

As such I am wondering if there is any interest in a Group 5 Proxy, if so click link below to find out more.

In my head Charles, I see scratch builds to start with a standard body shell and add mods to suit with styrene, card, lexan or 3D printed ... flares, wings, body armour etc.

Should be right up Munters alley.

Thanks ZeGas.

Not sure Munter is really into making resin bodies these days but that is for him to say. I would certainly look at if available.

Some other ideas to think about -

As an alternative to resin there may be some plastic body kits that can be bought. Another option would be the likes of Pattos type clear bodies. I would not see a 3D printed or kit set chassis as scratch built but probably 3D or brass front and rear axle mounts ok. Possibly also the likes of Slot-it or NSR motor mounts. Would prefer to see prototypical colour schemes as car decoration is a part of scratch building. A maximum weight would also be good to avoid flying bricks.

Hope of some help. Maximum width probably also essential.
