gazza
Latest purchase is the Sideways FGT LM 2019 Very strange, first time i've bought a car that has the manufacturers logo blocked out, i'm used to the cigarette sponsorship BS but it's a first for me with manufacturers Anyway easy enough job to peel off the plastic covers to reveal the logo and surprise ........... it's a Ford, who'd of thought Annoying part is that they supplied water slide transfers for the sides, vinyl would have been better and more permanent The chassis is nice and light and strengthened in all the right places interestingly the product was ........ Travelled a long way to get here The motor pod is a very hard plastic with no flex what so ever in it and only one engine screw The rear of the motor is only just held in by the pod, i managed to scrape the inside which allowed a fraction more grip but any force to try and push it over the end will result in it snaping, very hard and brittle. The finished product does look good, the rear wing had to be assembled and is very fragile and i don't expect it to last long, no rubber mountings (NSR) or magnets (RevoSlot) to hold it on and no plain wing as a replacement (Slot-it) or to use instead. Little bit of weight (about 8grms) added and will give it a run tomorrow night at our usual thursday nights racing at the Slot Car Center in Morley here in WA Quote Quickly read this post before it is deleted or i turn grey again Gary http://www.facebook.com/Rallyproxy2017
