fiery1
I printed my Hillman Imp today and one side failed to print for the first half of one side going up the door. Please see attached images. There are no bits in the tank. What may have caused this? print angle length was 15deg, side 20deg Any help or thoughts would be much appreciated Thanks Fred
gazza
Could be the side angle, i only ever have length angle around the 15 deg Quote Quickly read this post before it is deleted or i turn grey again Gary http://www.facebook.com/Rallyproxy2017
MrFlippant
When you have a failure, leave the supports on. What happened with those can also tell a lot. Without them, it could be that the walls of the model are too thin to print, or so thin that they easily broke. But, since the other side looks OK, that's less likely to be the reason. Have you done an exposure test with that resin to make sure you're getting an appropriate exposure time for best quality? Sometimes the settings provided by the manufacturer are not the best. fiery1
thank you both, very much appreciated, I will change the angle and amount of supports and give it another go. Thanks again
