jimmyslots 1950
My latest builds are a 1/24th & 1/32nd replicas of my Commodore Super Sedan that I raced in the '80s at Kembla Grange Speedway. I bought the Commodore when it was half built & spent about 6 months to finish with the suspension the major redesign & learned how to do everything on the build, lots of fun & saved a lot of money doing it myself with help from some great mates. My 1/24th car is a Parma flexi 1 modified chassis with my custom wheels & my Flip Flop rear tyres. The 1/32nd car is Munter resin cast VK using a Scaleauto chassis & again my custom wheels & performs as well as my Slot it cars. Both cars are very nice to drive so won't be spending much time on the shelf. Cheers. Quote To finsh first, first you gotta finish
Kieran
Very nice. Do these need an oval track to do them justice?
jimmyslots 1950
Hi Kieran Cars work fine in both directions,an oval track is on my bucket list but limited space is always a problem for slot heads, but never say never. Cheers 1 Quote To finsh first, first you gotta finish
Chris in the A.C.T.
Speedway sedans always look tough, and they look great. With a bit of luck you may be able to squeeze in an oval. Our smallest was a three laner on a standard sheet of MDF. He propped it against a wall and set it up on trestles when needed, it was so much fun.
