  1. I have a center called Racefun, think the name tells everything, you are welcom to use it too, I would never open a center on the south side of the earth :-)
  2. Steve, you link to 1, 4 and 16 but I think you have these pictures as private in your album, there are only 5 pictures in your album visible for us 11, 12, 14, 15, 22 btw steve, I have a commecial center in Copenhagen, only slotcars 2 track 8 laners 30 meter each http://www.racefun.dk there are also a club racing there http://club.racefun.dk offcourse the pages is in Danish but the pictures can everybody see :-) foto = photo ;-)
  3. yeah, he was 'waytofast' there :bday: his photoalbum can be found here: http://s419.photobucket.com/albums/pp280/waytofast_album/ btw, nice track, just need some more space to the deslotted cars at the side of the corners. and the temperature, dont cry I frezze like h**l minus 5 and a good breeze feel like minus 15, cant buildt anything with gloves on :-)
  4. From Parke in Germany you can buy this beauty: a resin kit for the Ferrari 512S you can find more photos under our club site: http://club.racefun.dk just click 'foto' I am gonna use it for a 5l race in may, only for ferrari 512 and Porsche 917 raceinfo: http://club.racefun.dk/512vs917.html
  5. @ Springbok Racer, I read but don't vote here And dont see it that way, from many years I know that 80 - 90 % dosn't vote, just read and follow the rules you set up. @ kennedyrd, absolute correct, more rules = more fun, every time we try with rules on one sheet of paper, it is fun when the guys making the rules are racing them, but when a new come in he read the rules a build the fastest care possible to the rulebook, no matter what it cost, and he endng up driving double speed - he has fun, the rest dosn't. So if you would have a race for everybody make the rule book complete, just as the rules for the Plafit racing over here http://www.plafit-racing.com all the racers in Denmark are telling me they are complicated, until they read them and build a car, then they found out that they could build a car just as fast as the fastest guys do. And then they come back to me saying that the rules are easy to follow, and give a very fair race. You cant buy you self to a better/faster car and everybody have fun. I went to Germany (900 km from me) to race in DPM 2006, now I have a part of the EPC in Denmark too, because it was fun to race there after these rules, probertly the same with the race in Chicago, Mark was racing in Germany and found out it was fun and tight race. all the best to you have fun
  6. here is the latest one, finshed today, its my spare car.
  7. for 1/24 - 8 mm depth 3 mm wide if you are using braid let it be 0,2 mm from the slot so it dosnt floss. if you are using tape it couldt be better with a 3,2 or 4 mm wide drill.
  8. The car performance is excellent. Plafit Excel pro Front 8 mm wide og 26,6 mm Ø rearwheel 13 mm wide and 27,9 mm Ø gearing 11/46 weight 193,6 gram body 69,2 gram free space 1,2 mm The rules say 190 gr. total weight and the body has to be 60 gr. But the performance is better with the weight between the front and rear wheels and on this track closer to the rear wheels. the ekstra gr. is only to be sure the car is heavy enough even if i loose a rearwing and the mirrors
  9. hi we using plafit foxII its cheap, its very similar and thats good when we use hand out motor for the championship, there is not to much break in the motor so you really have to balance the car around, dont loose to much in the corners and a right setup so the car can go fast in the corners. some people meaning that the motor is bad and slow and want the proslot instead, but we have a motor professor in our club and he showed us how much better he can make a open endbell motor like proslot , even not breaking the seal, so we dont want to use that motor because we want to race where the car and the man do the difference and not the motortuner. wingsupport: I am using the pf1224cp and set it out to the side and make a ekstra ballast my self and set it inside the 1224 wings pf1224cp paintet black here.
  10. Hi there, on the other side of the world we will for the 3. time hold the Danish Championship for 1/24 GT car, copys of models from alms-lemans-jgtc-fia gt but in free livery. most of the cars and top 3 the past years was all Plafit excel pro chassis, this year some also will use the super 124 and the plafit slp chassis, but other marks also represented. I allways drive Plafit Excel pro, and this year I build a Honda NSX2005 tamiya kit on top of it. only i use lexan windows instead of the glass from the kit. Scaleauto wheels from the plafit 9700GT kit, front wheels hardened with 10 sec. glue and decals on side, cover them with laquier also build a car for my youngest son age 12, the old son build his own car. back end of the car, wing support in rubber but exact copy from the plastic kit. diffuser also in lexan, alu pipes together with some others in the club a day we tested this week.
  11. Since the question is in the 1/24 forum, I will tell my experience. I drive only 1/24 hardbody, cars on 175-225 gr. on club tracks, and I discovered that sometimes the brake is not enough, because the pot is making some small resistance even that it is cut off. So I try with diffenrent pot's to ind the one with the lowest resistance to get most brake on the car. If you need 25 ohm on a 1/24 car you just buildt the car the wrong way ;-) 10 ohm is more than enough. best regard Keld, on the other site of the world my center
  12. in lexan i dont know but i did made them in fiberglass 1/24 its a 312P spyder from 1969-1971 did race in la mans etc. I think the serie no is 870, but there was 3 of them, all destroyed rebuilt to other cars now
