Felt a lot better Friday a.m. after lying down a few hours and shot off at first light, Made the funeral at 11.30 in Albany with 5 minutes to spare, - and no speeding... Despite my bit of pain, I had a great time myself, nice relaxed night, and we even had someone else doing the hard yards on the BBQ. "spiffing smithy, spiffing" JK. - We have a rhubarb plant doing trifford imitations, call by on your way home from work one night and we'll cut a bunch. Viv and munter took a pile and you can barely see where it went after 2 days. And Damien really took to the wood racing, he's keen to start a club up his way. Not to bad for a guy who had 5 minutes driving experience without magnets before you all arrived ! In their defence, we had sat around and fed and lubricated the bodies for a while, so concentration levels may have been lowered to increase the "relaxation factor" I shot that vid and put it up on Slotforum as well, because we had a visitor "Damo" who is on slotforum, but not on here - yet. He is from Ohope (next to Whakatane), and this was his first experience of club racing. On the other hand, they ARE a club class, which most of us really like; and we HAVE given them "a rest". - they haven't been run since 15th November.... we've had other 4 club nights since we last ran them. If Craig cared to build his track, he could host and choose his own classes.....
